We are looking for an experienced object oriented programmer with skills in ActionScript3, Flex 3 and/or C# who also has some design and usability experience.  You’ll work directly with our senior software engineers and management to apply your skills toward the continued improvement of our primary web product: TrainingPeaks.com. You will also be responsible to design and build brand new features and applications.  We expect all applicants to display a logically-minded development approach with long-term code maintenance as a high priority.

 

You will work in a team environment but will also be required to bring a high level of independence and strong initiative.  The successful applicant will always have his/her ideas heard and, where appropriate, integrated into our product.

 

Initially we are looking for someone who can aid in our front-end development, specifically with design and usability in mind.  Over time, the ability to delve into deeper layer web-service and server-side methods is expected.

Qualifications:
Requires middle to high level Adobe Flex, Action Script 3.0 programming experience. Suitable candidate should possess relevant experience with:
* Flex Builder 3 with Action Script 3.0 and Flex charting, MXML, Web services calls, HTTP service calls, Data models, Remote Object calls, Eclipse (6 months or more)
* GUI design and usability experience
* DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS development (2 years or more)
* Exposure to Weborb or Flourine desirable

 

Additional Skills:
* BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is a plus
* Exposure to version control software (SVN) is desirable.
* Exposure to graphic design tools are desirable.
* Knowledge of SQL is desirable
* Knowledge of C# including Web Services/ASP.NET Forms/NHibernate/NUnit is a plus
* Knowledge of AJAX frameworks is a plus
